We celebrated the Queen’s Jubilee in style with a traditional street party (albeit inside due to the great British weather). In the run-up, children enjoyed making bunting, crowns, learning about members of the Royal Family and practicing the National Anthem. A few days after the Jubilee we had a visit from a soldier (Louisa’s son) who was on duty for the celebrations in London. He taught the children how he had to stand and they all had a picture with him!

It was lovely to see so much being done at the Nursery to celebrate the Jubilee and a lovely idea to throw a picnic. My child came home and told me they had lots of fun and the photos looked brilliant!
